Hills Fleurieu Police are investigating a crash at Finniss last week and are seeking help from the public.
About 1pm on Monday 8 May, a 4WD was travelling along Alexandrina Road when its roof top tent came off and hit the windscreen of an oncoming truck.
It caused significant damage to the truck but that the driver was not injured.
Police say the driver of the 4WD failed to stop at the scene and authorities have not been able to identify the vehicle’s registration.
They are seeking assistance from the public to help identify the vehicle and driver and have included sent us the above image for reference.
