Police are still searching for a third person involved in a car theft and joyride yesterday morning, with two others arrested in Blackwood.
PolAir was called in to track a vehicle which was reported to be driving erratically in the southern suburbs, with the stolen Mercedes-Benz evntually abandoned in a Blackwood shopping centre carpark.
A 13-year-old boy and 19-year-old man were caught nearby, after one attempted to catch a bus and another looked to escape on foot.
A third person exited the vehicle and has not been located, despite search crews scouring Blackwood in the early hours with police dog assistance.
Investigations are continuing, with the car being towed for forensic examination.
