Hi! I’m Rebekha Sharkie, Your Federal Member For Mayo.
I am local, just like you.

For more than 20 years I have lived in our beautiful region, and I am honoured to have served as Mayo’s representative in Canberra since 2016.

My journey into politics was not straightforward. I began in conveyancing and office management, juggling hours with my responsibilities as a mum.

Later, I worked in political offices where I saw a need for greater community engagement in national decision-making.

As your community representative, I am a fierce advocate for our local industries, real action on climate change, improving local health services and ensuring integrity in Parliament.
