The State Government is urging flood affected businesses to apply for further assistance.
The Mid Murray River Tourism Business Support Program offers grants of up to $50,000, which can be used to create new events or further bolster recovery efforts.
Businesses are able to apply for the grants via tourism.sa.gov.au/support/grants-and-funding.
Applications will close at 5pm Friday 24 November.
Tourism Minister Zoe Bettison says the State Government will help the Mid-Murray region as required.
“The funding is designed to give eligible tourism businesses a step closer to re-opening or recovery, and more broadly, drive a greater range of products in the region,” Ms Bettison said.
“We’ve always said that we wanted to provide targeted and timely support, and I want to thank the Mid Murray Council for helping design this package with the South Australian Tourism Commission.”
