A young man has died after a single vehicle crash at Hahndorf.
About 10.20pm last night, Wednesday 20 December, emergency services were called to Mount Barker Road, Hahndorf near Leonard Road after a car rolled and crashed into a tree.
The driver of the car, a 25-year-old Blair Athol man, died at the scene.
His two passengers, a 20-year-old Elizabeth South woman and a 19-year-old Blakeview woman, were both injured in the crash and taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Major Crash investigators attended and examined the scene overnight.
Mount Barker Road has since reopened.
The young man’s death is the 110th life lost on South Australian roads so far this year, compared to 66 at the same time last year.
