The Pretoria Hotel is taking part in a new anti-gambling trial in South Australia.
Problem gamblers will be able to bar themselves from gambling at the Mannum venue, and another 30 venues, through the use of clearly displayed QR codes.
They can use the online form to select the types of gambling they want to be barred from, where, and for how long.
If enough people get on board, the campaign could be extended beyond the 30-day trial.
It is estimated South Australia has around 40,000 moderate to high-risk gamblers.
Other venues taking part in the trial include the Arkabar, the Marion Hotel, Marion Sport and Community Club, the Para Hills Community Club and the Renmark Club.
The website Gambling Help Online is also available for discrete online help, which also has the function to chat with a live counsellor. This support is also available to anyone concerned about someone experiencing gambling harm.
