A man has been flown to hospital in a serious condition following a two-vehicle crash at Murray Bridge North this morning.
About 2.15am today, Wednesday 30 October, police and emergency services were called to Mannum Road near Reedy Creek Road after a Hyundai van collided with the side of a B-triple road train.
The driver of the van, a 60-year-old local man, sustained serious injuries in the crash and was airlifted to Adelaide for treatment. The truck driver was not injured.
The northbound lane of Mannum Road was closed for several hours while police investigated the crash and the damaged truck was removed from the road.
Mannum Road was reopened about 7.15am.
