One of Noarlunga’s newest recruits has belted Willunga in an extraordinary innings, leaving the Shoes in a dominant position after Day One of Round Four play in the Great Southern Cricket Association.
Coming in at number four, Jamie Diener made 204 off just 92 deliveries, hitting 16 sixes and 13 fours in a blistering display.
After declaring at 4/287, Willunga are 7/72 in reply and look set to follow on.
Other games from the round sees Encounter Bay and Goolwa evenly poised, while Port Elliot is in a good position to aim for an outright win against Victor Harbor.

Woodside has claimed a big Round Five win on Saturday in the Alexandra and Eastern Hills Cricket Association, beating Langhorne Creek by three wickets to leapfrog them into third.
After holding the Tigers to 139, Woodside grinded their way to a key win thanks to important knocks from Noah Bell and James Bradley, meaning the Warriors now already have half the wins they did for all of last season.
Other games from the round saw Lobethal, Strathalbyn and Hahndorf all get the points.

Mannum’s bowlers came to play and guided their side to a vital Round Five win on Saturday, in the Murray Towns Cricket Association.
The Kookaburras held the high-scoring Wanderers to just 136, before cruising home to win by five wickets at the Showgrounds to move into second.
Other matches from the day’s play saw Mypolonga and Monarto win convincingly against Meningie and Tailem Bend respectively.

Stirling, Mount Lofty and Mylor all picked up important wins against teams near them on the table to consolidate the top three of the Hills Cricket Association on Saturday.
Mylor in particular will take confidence from their win, holding off defending champions Scott Creek Ironbank to win by 39 runs to return to the winners’ circle.
Kangarilla also picked up their first win of the season, beating Meadows by six wickets in a high-scoring match.
