Three people have been arrested after attempting to take illicit drugs into Mobilong prison in Murray Bridge.
About 2pm, Saturday 9 November, police were called to the correctional facility after reports a woman and two men were attempting to bring illicit drugs into the prison.
Police searched the suspects’ vehicle and allegedly located an amount of methamphetamine and GHB.
A 20-year-old woman from Aldinga Beach was charged with introducing a drug into a correctional facility.
A 21-year-old man from Salisbury North and a 33-year-old man from Happy Valley were charged with possession of a controlled drug.
All were granted bail to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court at a later date.
