The CFS, State Government and the Bureau of Meteorology are urging locals to be ready for tomorrow, as scorching temperatures and high winds are set to hit almost all of South Australia.
The Murraylands and Mount Lofty Ranges have both had Total Fire Bans declared for Saturday 16th November, after being graded as Extreme fire danger regions.
They join the West Coast, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Mid North, Riverland and Upper South East as Extreme fire danger regions, with the Upper Eyre Peninsula and Yorke Peninsula regions graded as Catastrophic.
At time of publishing, Murray Bridge is expected to reach 40 degrees with winds of up to 45km/h, while areas such as Mount Barker, Strathalbyn, Victor Harbor will all clear 35 degrees with similar winds.
A cool change is forecast to reach the Murraylands and Mount Lofty Ranges by late Saturday night.
The concerning conditions coincide with the Fire Danger Season beginning in the Mount Lofty Ranges, Kangaroo Island and Adelaide yesterday, marking the last of the regions to enter into the danger period.
