National Tree Day – Community Planting

This will help the threatened Hooded Plover

Meet at 10am at Bus Stop 3 Hindmarsh Road Victor Harbor to walk to Hayborough beach together

It is the third annual community planting day – everyone (all ages) welcome to attend

Bring a friend, a trowel and gloves and help plant some seedlings along the foreshore building up the ideal habitat for our feathered friends

Carolyn Taylor – Marine & Coastal Officer of Hills & Fleurieu Landscapers will provide an overview of the program to help the threatened Hooded Plover before we head down to the beach where the planting will occur (on the edge of the dunes, the Port Elliot side of the Hindmarsh River mouth – look for the hi-viz tops)
