Local Senator Anne Ruston is calling for urgent action to fix a drop in medical bulk billing rates.
The Federal opposition claim bulk billing rates have dropped from near 89% in 2021 to now sit at 77%.
Riverland based Shadow Health Minister, Anne Ruston said “without action to address the current decline in bulk billing and rising health costs, Australians’ access to critical healthcare will be increasingly at risk”

Ruston Added further “Medicare has been weakened from every angle, and Australians cannot afford for this concerning trend to continue,”.
