The Great Southern Cricket Association’s grand final is set, with Noarlunga and Port Elliot to play for it all after they won their semi-finals over the weekend.

Minor premiers Noarlunga knocked out defending champions Encounter Bay, with the Shoes winning by seven wickets after another all-round effort. 

Last year’s grand finalists Port Elliot will get another chance after they beat Goolwa by 89 runs, thanks to 91 from Tyson Levy and seven wickets from Ben Griffiths.

Hahndorf’s incredible rise has continued in thrilling fashion, with the Alexandra and Eastern Hills’ bolters now locked into the grand final following the first week of finals on Saturday.

Hahndorf managed to sneak over the line to beat Langhorne Creek by two wickets in a low-scoring qualifying final, meaning they go from missing finals the last three seasons to playing in their first grand final in six years.

Meanwhile, two-time defending champions Lobethal stayed alive in their quest for a three-peat after they beat Woodside by six wickets in the elimination final.

Stirling have stunned minor premiers Mount Lofty on Saturday, booking themselves a spot in the Hills Cricket Association grand final in the process. 

The qualifying final was surprisingly one-sided, with the Redcaps bowled out for just 65 before Stirling chased it down easily inside 17 overs. 

It was only the second loss for Mount Lofty this season.

Over in the elimination final, defending champions Scott Creek-Ironbank advanced to the prelim after a comfortable eight-wicket win over Mylor.
