Saturday had more local cricket action than expected as the rain held off for the most part, with contenders across the associations taking advantage to make big statements. Catch up on all the results here:
ALEXANDRA AND EASTERN HILLS CRICKET ASSOCIATION (full scorecards here)
Lobethal have moved into outright first in the Alexandra and Eastern Hills Cricket Association, after comfortably beating top-four contender Woodside on Saturday.
Woodside posted a competitive score in their innings, making 177, however a brutal 111* from Mitch Weeks helped the Tigers reach the total with ease to win by eight wickets.
Other matches from the round saw Nairne beat Strathalbyn by five wickets in a key matchup outside the top four, while Langhorne Creek and Hahndorf continued their winning ways to establish themselves within the four.

Stirling has produced a dominant performance to move into second on the Hills Cricket Association table on Saturday, belting fellow contender Mylor by 10 wickets.
Stirling chased down their target of 126 in just 16 overs, thanks to blistering knocks from openers Connor McFadyen (67*) and Jack Read (43*)
Other games from Saturday’s play saw Mount Lofty, Kangarilla and Aldgate all take the points.
MURRAY TOWNS CRICKET ASSOCIATION (full scorecards here)
The Wanderers have staked their claim as a top three side in the Murray Towns Cricket Association on Saturday, after comprehensibly beating Meningie as part of Round 7 action.
Meningie lost regular wickets and never got going to be bowled out for just 95, before Craig Fidge and Cameron Cox helped the Wanderers to cruise to an eight-wicket win.
Other matches from the round saw Mypolonga stay undefeated with an 87-run win over Monarto, while Mannum beat Tailem Bend by seven wickets.
GREAT SOUTHERN CRICKET ASSOCIATION (full scorecards here)
The Great Southern Cricket Association only managed to get a partial day’s play in on Saturday, leaving all five matches in the lurch ahead of Day Two next week.
Despite the rain, Goolwa holds a strong hand against Port Elliot, sitting at 0/109 after 36 overs, while Noarlunga will be confident in their ability to chase down McLaren Districts’ total as they sit at 6/126 after 39 overs.
Cellar dwellers Victor Harbor are however in trouble despite only facing 18 overs, after Willunga bowled well to restrict them to 6/72.
