MURRAY TOWNS CRICKET ASSOCIATION (full scorecard here)
The Murray Towns Cricket Association grand final will be between Mypolonga and Mannum yet again, after the Tigers belted Monarto in a one-sided prelim final on Saturday.
The Blackcaps made just 66 in their innings, with Mypolonga’s Aaron Zrim, Samuel Elliot, Riley Walton and Lachlan Zrim all taking multiple wickets.
The Tigers chased down the total without loss inside 12 overs.
It’ll be the fourth consecutive year that Mypolonga and Mannum will play in the grand final.
GREAT SOUTHERN CRICKET ASSOCIATION (full scorecards here)
Myponga-Sellicks have barely held onto the sixth and last spot in the Great Southern Cricket Association finals, after a highly dramatic final day of action on Saturday.
Seventh-placed McLaren Districts fell 10 runs short of an extraordinary outright win over Victor Harbor, which would have seen them jump the Mudlarks into the finals, after they nearly lost outright themselves against Goolwa.
Next week’s first week of finals will see Myponga-Sellicks face in-form Port Elliot in the first elimination final, while Encounter Bay and Yankalilla will battle in the second elimination final.
HILLS CRICKET ASSOCIATION (full scorecards here)
The Hills Cricket Association will once again see a climatic finish to their season next week, after more drama in the penultimate round on Saturday.
Bridgewater’s 57-run win over Mylor moved them into the fourth and final spot, moving Mylor and Aldgate to the outer after they lost by 8 wickets to Stirling.
With one round to go, Bridgewater, Mylor and Aldgate are only separated by percentage, while Scott Creek Ironbank still aren’t mathematically locked in either despite having a game in hand in third.
ALEXANDRA AND EASTERN HILLS CRICKET ASSOCIATION (full scorecards here)
The four finalists have finally been locked in for the Alexandra and Eastern Hills Cricket Association, after weeks of the door being left ajar.
Woodside beat Bremer Callington by 122 runs to confirm their place in the finals, while Nairne’s season was ended by an 88-run loss to Langhorne Creek.
