Police have made contact with a missing kayaker following an extensive search in the Coorong.
The man, aged in his 70s, set off on a kayaking trip along the Coorong on Monday 12 August. The alarm was raised on Wednesday 14 August after he stopped making regular contact.
PolAir and Water Operations Police conducted a coordinated search of the area.
Just after 11pm last night, police were able to make contact with the man by phone and confirm he was safe.

Police will make further contact with the man today and thank the public for their assistance.
