Two men will face court after being arrested on Friday for drug offences.
At 8.15am Friday 28 April, investigators from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch attended an address on Westbrook Road, Tailem Bend and conducted a search.
The search allegedly identified nine cannabis plants being grown hydroponically as well as an amount of dried cannabis. A 43-year-old Tailem Bend man was arrested and charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug, cultivate cannabis, possession of prescribed equipment and theft of electricity. He was released on bail ahead of his June 5 court date.
On the same day at 1.35pm, Murray Bridge Detectives attended an address on Kiernan Street to conducted a seperate search. Inside police allegedly located dried cannabis and fourteen hyrdroponically grown cannabis plants.
A 35-year-old Callington man will also face court on June 5 for trafficking a commercial quantity of a controlled drug, cultivate cannabis and possess prescribed equipment.

“The Serious and Organised Crime Branch works collaboratively with other specialist areas of SAPOL and the metro and country policing areas to take every opportunity to apprehend those involved in the cultivation and trafficking in cannabis and other illegal drugs,” Detective Chief Inspector Denise Gray said.
