Police are investigating a serious two car crash at Port Elliot.
Just before 6pm, Monday 27 March, patrols and emergency services were called to Port Elliot Road near the entrance to the Basham Beach Conservation Park, after a Nissan utility and a Nissan SUV crashed.
The driver of the SUV, a 58-year-old man from Encounter Bay, was airlifted to the Flinders Medical Centre with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the utility, a 29-year-old man from Goolwa was taken to Victor Harbor Hospital with minor injuries.

Port Elliot Road was closed for several hours but has since reopened to all traffic.
