South Australia has now lost 30 people on its roads so far this year following the death of a man in Milang and a pedestrian near the NT border.
Just after 1.15pm Tuesday 23 April, emergency services were called to Tee Road after reports that a car had left the road and collided with a stobie pole.
The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 72-year old local man, died at the scene.
Road closures were in place while Major Crash officers attended the scene, but all roads have now been reopened.
A 26-year old man from Port Augusta also died following a crash yesterday.
About 1.45pm on Tuesday 23 April, South Australia police, Northern Territory police, SAAS and CFS were called to the Stuart Highway at De Rose Hill, after reports that a car had struck a pedestrian.
The Stuart Highway was closed in both directions for most of the night while Major Crash Investigators flew to the scene from Adelaide.
